Corporate Carbon was established to develop new pathways to profit through innovative carbon management. We have three divisions:
Matthew Warnken has formal training in natural resource management, and undergraduate qualifications in Arts and Science from the Australian National University. He has a Masters of Engineering Research from the University of Sydney, and a business Masters in early stage commercialisation from the University of Adelaide, in addition to being a Certified Environmental Practitioner.
Matthew has been leading consulting teams around start-up projects in resource recovery and renewable energy for the last decade. Matthew has a wide range of experience. From a practical and operational perspective he led the establishment of a wood derived fuel pilot plant for a cement kiln. From a carbon markets perspective he led a client through the accreditation process with Greenhouse Friendly, to secure accreditation for over 300,000 tonnes of voluntary carbon abatement. Matthew is Managing Director of Corporate Carbon.
Mark Frecheville is a proactive and creative business professional with 25 years' senior leadership experience in new business development, equity capital, corporate advisory and finance. After a period of employment with GE Commercial in the late 1990s - following the acquisition by GE of a business of which he was a principal - Mark established and operated Greystone, a boutique corporate advisory and interim management consultancy.
During this time Mark became interested in sustainability and industries involving recycling and resource recovery. Mark’s most recent roles have been as CEO of a private equity backed scrap metal industry business, and adviser to a developing waste stream resource recovery group. This has led Mark to increase his focus on carbon industries. Mark is Director, Investment Strategies for Corporate Carbon.
